So finally, I've been waiting to post this compared to all the other blogs. I'm not going to do too much explaining on it plus if you had read the other blogs, you might have a pretty good idea on how I go about my work. But I will explain the scene. (This scene is still a work in progress.) On a side note, since it is my most recent work, it is cool to see the progression in my sound development and I am still learning more as I continue on. (I recommend turning up the volume on the video not just your speakers.) After you're done listening, go back and see how many layers of sounds there are.

The scene begins in the city's military hangar where soldiers are gearing up and loading their vehicles. Artillery and gun fire already take place in the background outside of the hanger, as soldiers aid in the fight against the giant creature known as a Killard. The Killard is attempting to break down the city's north wall, in pursuit of retrieving its stolen egg that the military had taken for research purposes. John (B character) is called into the hanger along with every other personnel stationed at base. John still doesn't have any idea what's going on other than the situation is dire. As all other military personnel scramble to join the fight, a higher-ranking officer that goes by the name Staff Sargent Hines, calls out to John.
